Proud Members of Georgetown & Cameron Chamber of Commerce

SOS Communications (now part of VTX1) was honored to host the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Business Lunch, where we discussed the challenges and innovations of delivering broadband to rural Texas. We’re proud members of both the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and the Cameron Chamber of Commerce, and we’re passionate about showing how our cutting-edge technology makes high-speed connectivity possible—even in the most remote areas.

Recently, we expanded our footprint by building a new transmission site in Cameron, Texas. As new members of the Cameron Chamber of Commerce, we shared our vision with local business owners and residents at the Rotary Club. We also joined a live broadcast on KMIL Radio to talk directly with the community about our mission and the question we get most often: “How do you do it better than others?” Our answer: by focusing on rural customers who have few options and investing in state-of-the-art engineering to deliver reliable access for work, education, and life.

We also had the privilege of being part of a special day at Morning Star Ranch in Milano, Texas. In partnership with VTX1, we made a contribution to support female veterans dealing with PTSD. Pictured below is Judge Andy Isaacs (who joined the event just two weeks after open-heart surgery), his wife Rita Kay, our Network Director Rick Hughes, and myself. Moments like these remind us that connectivity is about more than technology—it’s about community.

Where Connectivity Meets Community
